Some time back, I shared news with you on a plan of a new tax on American drivers based on miles driven annually. This plan has now garnered consideration from the Obama Administration, after the Congressional budget Office report surfaced in March regarding a proposed tax on vehicle miles traveled(VMT tax). Not to worry(at least at the time being), as this consideration has not reached politicians for debate. Nevertheless, we should become aware of issues such as this, as it seems as if a lot of reformations within the U.S. may have a significant effect throughout both the automotive industry & the Department of Transportation. Let's wait & find out how this will play out...
