But they do tidy up their equations so the intent should become clear. I mean, you could type verbally an equation, this is just the equivalent to punctuation, you put a point and a capital letter to start a new sentence.

True, but I like my Alu book look - I'd have no problem with a intel powered version. Although marketing being marketing, I'd like to see something new fresh, and awesome too.

All this talk about income taxes is all the MORE reason why we need unprecedented tax reform here in the USA.
In my humble opinion, we should right now go to a flat income tax using the Steve Forbes flat tax plan, and start a process that four years from now ends all income taxation in favor of a consumption tax on new-production goods and services (the FairTax proposal, H.R. 25/S. 13). I cite the following advantages of this change:
1. It would save possibly as much 75 to 95 percent of the US$300 BILLION per year (the current Tax Foundation estimate) now spent on income tax compliance. Sure, it'll put a lot of accountants, tax lawyers, H & R Block, Jackson Hewitt and Liberty Tax Service out of work, but can you imagine what freeing up US$225 to US$285 billion per year for other economic purposes would do for the US economy?
2. It would discourage American businesses from exporting jobs, factories and even corporate headquarters out of the USA for income tax avoidance reasons. That right there would mean millions of jobs coming back to the USA and commercial real estate (both production facilities and offices) would go from worthless to priceless almost overnight.
3. It would encourage American residents to keep their savings and investments in the USA, not put them in an "offshore bank" like all those "banks" in various Caribbean island nations for tax avoidance reasons or put them in the illegal cash-only underground economy. (I've read that American residents and businesses may have put WAY over US$10 trillion into offshore banks and the underground economy for tax avoidance reasons.) That means banks will now have proper levels of liquidity and you have all the incentive to invest in the US equities market, a major plus for the financial services industry here in the USA.
4. It would end by far the most insidious form of corruption in Washington, DC, the lobbying for various "tweaks" to the tax code that could affect as little as ONE taxpayer! It also means powerful companies can't use the tax code to provide "sweetheart" deals to protect their own marketshare, which means far more equality of opportunity for competing businesses (e.g., a company like General Electric can't have the tax code written so it is highly favorable to them--e.g., GE didn't pay any corporate taxes in 2010!).
5. Because the new tax plans I mentioned no longer tax bank account interest, capital gains and stock dividend payments, it would encourage Americans to create their own private "nest egg" for retirement and/or unexpected medical costs with virtually no income tax worries. That could right there possibly save both Social Security and Medicare since it would tremendously reduce the need for both of these government services.

Before I knew a lot about smartphones I used to think that the Samsung Galazy S was an iphone 3G. The industrial design looks just like the iphone.
The grid of icons and the dock is also a copy.

I'll bet you money they include Android tablets in the same chart if an Android tablet ever actually sells significant numbers. And it IS deceptive because they did not point out that the chart is completely different if you included all Apple iOS devices, whereas if you included all other Android devices besides phones the chart wouldn't change.

Problem is, as I said before, Apple sells worldwide. And most of the world couldn't possibly care less if a product is made in the USA or in Japan. We want it to be as good as it is now, at the best price. America can't do that, can it? Prince increase = sales decrease.

It is more conceivable that it would have a Blu-Ray ROM drive in a mobile, which would also help in starting the downward trend in price of the blue laser diodes. And basically, it seems more useful to have the ability to play blu-ray movies than burn a 25GB disc at that price and speed. Personally, of course, I don't see the Blu-ray thing happening this update but I do think that Apple wants to be a leader in this regard.
The DVD-burning SuperDrive was always something that Apple touted as being ahead-of-the-curve when introing it in the PowerMacs - of course, it took them a while to integrate it into the Titaniums in a slot-load config. So yeah, thinking aloud here, but it ain't gonna happen until the Mac Pros start (at the very least) having a BTO option of a Blu-Ray ROM (but more likely a burner).What about the inclusion/release of Blu-Ray Drives?Why would they put Blu-Ray drives in? And where would they get them from? Sony just moved the release of PS3 in Europe to March '07 duo to lack of sufficient Blu Ray readers.Since Fry's is already selling Sony ATAPI Blu-ray burners for $750, why doesn't Apple see the selling opportunity as an offering on the Mac Pro BTO page? I always imagined that when Apple sends over all the blueprints, for the technologies/products that Apple asks Samsung to build, those Blueprints go right to Samsung R&D. To copy and learn from.

The rummor would have been more credible if it said Apple was going to move to AMD processors since both AMD and Intel use compatible X64 architecture.
This would be like going back to the Power PC days... Yes new macs would have compatibility with Windows 8, but in this day and age where most people running Windows on Macs are using Windows XP it is unlikley that everyone needing to run Windows on Mac will be buying Windows 8.

As many observers have noted, the iOS location database does not record exact GPS data, instead seeking to pinpoint the locations of Wi-Fi access points and cell towers that the device comes within range of, although the database does offer a clear general track of a user's movements.
The bolded parts are key. The phone is simply keeping a cache of what towers and wifi sources are nearby, so it doesn't have to keep repeatedly doing the same searches over and over. It's like your Mac keeps a list of WiFi networks it has been connected to, so it doesn't have to ask you again the next time it sees them. Yes, that data can be used to point to roughly where you are, but it's not pinpoint accuracy like with GPS.
I think the easy solution to all this is simply to have this consolidated.db file roll off the old data after a couple of weeks or so, rather than keep it around for months or years at a stretch.

I have the 'air jacket' case on my iphone 3gs and it fits in the Tom Tom car kit just fine.
The sound quality when using handsfree isn't the best... but its not has bad as some bluetooth headsets I've had. Forget it if its raining out and your windshield wipers are on.
I don't find the kit inflexible at all... I was able to mount it and reposition it exactly how I wanted.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it.
