The impact of the earthquake is one of the reasons why JDM performance giant HKS will cease U.S. operations, on top of poor market conditions. After nearly three decades of conducting business in the states, HKS will now operate exclusively from its Japan headquarters. But enthusiasts don't worry, as you can still purchase HKS parts here in the U.S., but this is another example of how much impact the earthquake in Japan has affected their companies' foreign markets.
